Last summer I spent two months in Colombia, returning after five years without visiting my country, my family and my friends.

That's why it’s the best vacation I’ve had so far. I first went to Armenia-Quindío, one of the most beautiful places in Colombia. It is located in the middle of the mountain range, and it is a very green place full of coffee beans and wax palms.

Then I traveled to the west of the country, to a place called Calima-Darién. It has a huge dam and the best thing there is the climate. I spent several days visiting my grandmother. Her house is a paradise, especially when she’s there. Then I traveled to Bogotá, where I waited for my partner. We went together to another paradise place called Sapzurro for a week.  

Sapzurro is on the border with Panamá. It is a beautiful place, with lots of jungle and beach. To get there we had to take a boat. That trip was very entertaining because there were many big waves that hit the shore very hard. Everything the place offers is wonderful. I recommend it for those who want to disconnect from everything and enjoy the simple life.
